My partner and I had a really great experience here. Our sever, Julia, was excellent and attentive. The quality of service was incredible. Even though the restaurent was incredibly busy, but it didn’t affect the speed of service. I’d highly recommend this location to anyone!

We have been loyal to Joey's for years but since the covid lockdowns today was the first day we have ordered food. I have to say one word! DISGUSTING!!!! the portions are tiny the order incomplete twice over and enough salt to be compared to the Dead Sea! Get it together! Otherwise bye bye!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Super friendly and inviting staff, great drinks and awesome food. Special shoutout to Izzy for taking care of us! Definitely will visit again.

I frequent restaurants a lot due to the fact I’m in the business. Well today was a pleasure at joeys on Barlow. Anya our server was the best and most knowledgeable person i have had. We had our Valentine’s Day dinner at joeys Barlow what amazing service provided by Alyssa, beautiful girl with beautiful smile and off course the delicious food. Alyssa was so patient with my little. Definitely will suggest this location.

Awesome vibe inside - dark and relaxed aesthetic. We had the funniest and coolest server which made our stay even more fun! Happy hour late night is always a great option here, and food is great. Always a fun time getting together with friends at Joey.

You can never go wrong with Joey's. The staff are polite, friendly and efficient. They make sure to consistently check up on you so you dont have to flag them down.The food is always delicious there. I highly recommend the Tuna Salad for lunch. It is the perfect amount of food for a quick lunch and the mix of flavours is refreshing. There is plenty of parking and the atmosphere inside and outside on the patio presents itself as the perfect stage for your hour long performance by the staff.

Got a soy butter chicken dish. Came out really good. Went for lunch and service was quick. It was quite busy on a Monday

Food was really good. Service was fantastic. Place was busy, and so was server as a result, but we didn't wait too long for anything, and weren't in a hurry anyway.All the staff were really kind We had lettuce wraps, gyoza, and tandoori chicken flatbread. No complaints at all.

Rhea is hands down one of the best servers I have ever had at Joey Barlow. She is a "ray" of light - always energetic, bubbly and genuinely happy to serve us. She takes the definition of hospitality to a brand new level, always ensuring we are happy with the atmosphere and our order. We will definitely remain happy guests of Joey's because Rhea has done such an exceptional job of making us feel welcome every time we come in.

I can't say enough good things about the food there. I chose to go with the steak and sushi. Honestly they are amazing. I had the steak cooked to medium rare and it was phenomenal, super juicy and seasoned to perfection. And for the sushi it was very flavorful and delicious. Normally I'm not much of a seafood person, but places like this are the reason I enjoy fish, because they cook it to perfection.

Spoke to Izzi (hope I spelt it right) and informed her that I accidentally made an error with the order location and delivery of my order on DoorDash. I contacted DoorDash for assistance and they weren't able to do anything for me. Izzi kindly contacted the delivery driver and asked if they could deliver it to the proper address which the driver kindly agreed to do. Izzi even called me back to give me an update. The service was greatly appreciated and the food is stellar as always! Thank you to Izzi and the JOEY Barlow team.

A decent place with nice ambience. I like it a little dark and private sometimes. Food is good and flavourful and yes not all items on the menu satisfy all. I had this sushi thing whatever it was but was good, but some more sushi would have been appreciated😬, my partner had a steak and was cooked accordingly. There's a sassy cutie with a tattoo on her arm who works there 🤫

Nice atmosphere, building has character. Typical menu for restaurants of equivalency (Earls, Cactus Club, etc.) with above average pricing. Service was mediocre. Overall just an average restaurant. Dont come here if you want value for your money spent.

Delicious food and well sized. There might be a wait to get a table but totally worth it.

One of the best burgers I've ever had!! On the down side we asked for water which took some time when we first were seated until we asked a passing waiter and he brought us some. Love the ambience.

This restaurant is a staple in the community with a reputation for fine food and great service. I have never been disappointed and have been coming here since its inception. My guests have always been very pleased with this fine dining experience. I highly recommend this place.

I have been frequenting the various Joey restaurants over the years, but since they took their Seafood paella off the menu, I haven't visited as often. I was invited to this location by family last week and just found the food to be average at best. They recommended the hummus to me, so I ended up getting it with a side of garlic toast. The hummus dip itself wasn't anything to write home about and the pitas were fried to a crisp. I would have preferred it if the pitas were not fried, as I find frying takes away from the flavour of the hummus. In all, Joey Barlow has an okay ambience, but I don't feel like there's anything to keep me coming back.

Clean environment. Spacious, comfortable with pleasing decor. Service was friendly, courteous and efficient.Although we had 3 servers tend to our needs, Charlott was our assigned person.She was / is terrific. Will visit for an early supper next time. 👍💖😀

First of all, there is no complaint on the service. This was excellent. Our server did a perfect job with us. The food was bland and didn't have any true character. I had the rotisserie chicken and BBQ ribs. Everyone is our party felt the same. Presentation of our dishes was great, however. We will return for another visit and chalk it up to an off night, as I've been here before and it was really good.

The monemt I set foot into JOEY Barlow I was welcomed beyond expectation with a compelling and welcoming smile. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very informant. Our server Erica was exceptional in the knowledge of food and drink. We left, and came back for happy hour. Then sat at the bar for happy hour where we met Sue,the well experienced bar server who served us amazing sangria with a beautiful smile, she kept us entertained for the rest of the night. Thank you so much joey for the memorable night! Definitely reccomend!

I have been a regular at Joey Barlow for a year now. I must say that the place is solid. The food is consistently great, the staff is amazingly friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make you happy. Tonight I had the pleasure to be served by Erica. Her smile is contagious and her work ethic is perfect. Please make sure she knows how she’s appreciated. Regards.

My boyfriend and I come to this location all of the time, and we absolutely love it there!! Not only does the food taste amazing (especially the gyoza's), but the staff are just so incredible! We always feel so welcomed from the minute we walk through the doors. Every sever we have had at this location are always so great to us, and the manager especially. He is so kind and friendly, and will always acknowledge our presence! (thats how often we go there.) Me and my boyfriend always have a great time there, so thank you!! Stopped in with some buddies for an early Saturday lunch, was not disappointed. Food was great, the Ahi Tuna burger with onion rings and crispy mashed potatoes is simply delicious. Service was really really good too. Our server was very professional and attentive, she is the biggest reason for the 5 star rating. Great atmosphere, casual and modern. Patio is great!!!

Ice tea taste like water because they put 3/4 of ice in the glass. Waiter said that it’s normal so the drink will not get warm. (Seriously though, glass is almost full of ice). Food was good but the Service was really bad. I’m disappointed about this location because all other Joey’s have great services. We’ve waited almost 30 minutes to pay. We are confused on who to call because there’s 3 waiters who asked us if we are ready to pay and we said yes yet no one is bringing our check. Then we saw those waiters who asked us already busy doing something else. After few more minutes of waiting, Someone came with the cc machine but was surprised that we don’t have the check yet. Overall, worst experience in a Joey’s restaurant so far.

Amazing patio for a sweltering day. Packed but still roomy enough to get around. New cob salad was pretty good. Ribs were excellent. Wine and beer specials.

Izzy was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the chicken parm and it turned out delicious. Definitely will come back!

We recently went after they opened up again because of the virus, and we had Aniel as our server. She was so patient and so good with our big group. One of the best servers I’ve had at joeys, definitely a great employee and I’d come back again!!

Our waitress Rhea or Ray, was amazing. She was the best waitress I have ever had. She has the absolute best customer service, she was very attentive and served our table promptly. She is definitely beneficial to this restaurant. Hopefully We will get her again next time.

I was in on Saturday with my family celebrating my brothers birthday. We had ordered our first round of drinks and when it was being delivered the server had a glass fall over on her tray causing all the drinks to spill. The drinks spilled mainly on the table but also on my sister and her phone (which was luckily in a life proof case). The server was apologetic and we were all very understanding since we are all servers. The manager came over and apologized but when the bill came they didn't take off anything. The amount of drink that spilled was so much we had to move tables. A big company like Joey's should have no issues taking care of a round of drinks especially after spilling them. I am a server and know for a fact that had that happened to me I would very much appreciate the table being understanding and get my manager to promo the round or at the very least comp a birthday desert. Disappointing.

I have drove past Joey Barlow a million times, dine in restaurants around and never thought there food and services were of a superior nature. Every bite and taste from our family outing last night was amazingly great! Staffs were very courteous too. Amazing restaurant with all goodies and an inviting atmosphere 🤙

The service here was top notch. Our server was very friendly and checked up often. The food was delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly. We had a great experience here and we will definitely be returning the next time we are in Calgary.

Ashley w, was one of the best servers I’ve had over the last 6 years. She was so personable and I really appreciate her service and genuine personality. I will definitely ask for her next time I am at joeys Barlow.

I ordered some apple pies today through DoorDash for a later pick-up time but the DoorDash system did not notify the restaurant that it was for 4:45 pm and not ASAP. So when I got to Joeys Barlow. I called and they had it ready near the time I ordered it. Despite the situation they gave me fresh pies in less than 10 min. Thanks to Kelly and the staff that was working there. This location has always provided me with great customer service for many years.

Was here tonight, food was okay but server Megan was amazing. She checked up often and made sure everything was okay. Bubbly and sweet. Very quiet and cozy location so nice for conversations.

Had dinner tonight with my mom! Our server Julia was awesome! We hardly eat out due to allergies but our evening here has given us hope we can always find something here at Joey! We will definitely be back! It also helps when the waitress is super friendly and personable !!!

Went here a couple weeks ago with some friends. Our server, Nadine, was excellent! She had such a bright energy and was attentive without being overbearing. She also genuinely seemed like she loved her job. The food was good besides the sliders, but the service is worth mentioning!!! Keep up the great work Nadine! It doesn’t go unnoticed.

I've been to a bunch of restaurants in Calgary during my travels and although the ambiance and scenery has been better in some of the competition, the food here is best in class. I had the grilled salmon and it was incredible. Cooked to absolute perfection and impeccably seasoned. The crunchy mashed potato that came as a side was unexpected and delicious as well. If I had to offer any constructive feedback about the food, it would be about the portion size. Although the salmon was the best I've had, I was left wanting more after it was done. I will definitely return next time I'm in town

Had the most amazing experience with appies, lunch and delightful dessert. The best part by far was the service though, with the ever attentive Estevan (sp?) and his partner in crime in velvet whose name I forgot, (they did not forget mine!). They made the time at the bar absolutely magical with excellent service and warmth. Terrific work on the customer service, these two deserve a raise! We will be right back, again!

Lunch meetings with clients and business partners are extremely common in our profession. Although there are a great deal of restaurant options in our area, Stacy from Joey Barlow makes our decision very easy each week. Her attention to detail, the impeccable service she provides, and the warm welcoming we receive from her is something our department looks forward to on a weekly basis. We've been regulars at this establishment for close to 4 years and felt the need for this to be recognized. Thanks Stacy!

Anya was our server and she was excellent, attentive and very personable. Food is always good here. We had the Sliders Royale and shrimp lettuce wraps. Finished off with apple pie with maple ice cream. So delicious!

Very good food and service. I've been to this branch on a few occasions and can't remember ever having a bad experience. Servers are usually nice and very attentive. Food and drinks are of very good quality, same as what you would expect from Joey's, no more no less. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

Went in for happy hour, got seated right away and our waitress came to us very quickly after. She was so polite and nice. Her attitude and smile was genuine. Anya S definitely makes me want to come back.
